Professor Wang’s research has centred on the clinical and basic research of TCM approaches to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, the inheritance and development of TCM cardiology theory, and methodologies for syndrome-combination research, with particular emphasis on integrating TCM pattern differentiation with modern disease diagnosis. Through clinical research, national research programmes, and long-term medical practice, he has contributed to the development of evidence-based approaches to TCM cardiology, the standardisation of TCM clinical practice, and research integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine. His scholarly work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and monographs addressing cardiovascular disease, TCM theory, clinical evaluation, and integrated medical approaches. His professional and advisory activities have also contributed to discussions concerning the modernisation of TCM, cardiovascular disease management, and the development of standards and research methodologies in the field. Through sustained clinical research, academic leadership, medical education, and engagement with national research and professional platforms, Professor Wang has contributed to connecting traditional Chinese medical theory with contemporary cardiovascular research and clinical practice, as well as to the development of integrated approaches to cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
